To be eligible to enter, individuals must purchase a 2009 Paralympics collectable pin valued at $10 or $50 from a representative of the Promoter or via the online ordering system operated by the Promoter (if available) during the promotional period. Each collectable pin will include a scratch game card.
To enter the major prize draw, entrants must then enter online by visiting www.pinandwin.com.au, follow the prompts to the competition entry page, input the requested details including their unique code from the scratch card, and submit the fully completed entry form, during the promotional period.
Scratch your game card to reveal whether or not you have won an instant cash prize. To claim a prize, fully complete the back of your original winning game card by inserting your requested details and then send it to “Pin & Win Over $60,000 Cash to be Won!” Promotion, Suite 11, 210 Toorak Road, South Yarra, VIC, 3141, so that it is received by last mail on 22/06/2010. The Promoter recommends that winners use registered post; however, this is not a condition of claiming a prize and the cost to do so will be the responsibility of the winner.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
4. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
5. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per specified purchase requirement; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
6. Entrants must retain a copy of their ticket, purchase receipt(s) or online order confirmation(s) for all entries as proof of purchase as you will be requested to send the original ticket to the PO Box 9199, South Yarra VIC 3141 for entries to the draw and to the address outlined in point 3 of the “How To Enter’ section above, for all winning ticktets. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries if requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize.
7. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
8. Promotion commences 26/06/2009 and ends 11:59pm AEST on 18/06/2010. Major prize draw entries must be received by this date. All claims for instant win prizes must be received by last mail received on 22/06/2010.

10. Cash prizes will be awarded in the form of a cheque made payable to the winner
11. The major prize draw will take place at the Promoter’s office at Suite 11, 210 Toorak Road, South Yarra VIC 3141, on 23/06/2010 at 11:00am. The Promoter reserves the right to draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
12. The first valid entry drawn will win a choice of either: (a) $25,000 cash or (b) a voucher to the value of AUD $25,000 which the winner can redeem for a travel voucher. Travel voucher must be redeemed via World Wide Travel. Prize must be booked within 12 months of the major prize draw, outlined in point 11. If the winner has not booked the prize within 12 months of the major prize draw. Travel voucher will expire on the 23/06/2011. Any additional costs associated with redeeming the voucher, including but not limited to meals, taxes, insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges, and spending money, are the responsibility of the winner and any companions (as incurred). Redemption of the voucher is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the voucher. The winner (and any companion) is responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any requisite visas, vaccinations and documentation required for travel. The winner will not earn frequent flyer points by redemption of the voucher. Any unused balance of the voucher may be awarded as cash at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. However, subject to the terms and conditions of the participating travel provider(s), if for any reason a winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
13. The major prize draw winner will be notified by mail. Winners of prizes over AUD $100 will be published in The Australian on 25/06/2010.
14. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
15. If the winner of any prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian.
16. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
17. Total prize pool value is up to AUD $61,175.
18. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
19. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 22/09/2010 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners’ names (for prizes over AUD $100) will be published in The Australian on 24/09/2010. For any unclaimed $5 prizes or $10 instant win prizes, these prizes will be bundled into amounts of $100 and awarded to valid entrants drawn in the unclaimed prize draw. Any excess cash that does not fall within a $100 denomination will be awarded as a prize of the remaining amount (eg: if there is $545 worth of unclaimed $5 and $10 prizes, this will form 5 x $100 prizes, and 1 x $45 prize).
20. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
21. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
22. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
23. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
24. Printing and other quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured. Instant win game materials void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way. There will be 120,000 instant win game cards printed.
25. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
26. As a condition of accepting the major prize that the winner (and any companion/s) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and prize/event organisers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
27. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
28. The laws of Australia apply to this promotion to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
